New leader of CPH Cattle

Liza RosenbaumAfter previous leader, Associate Professor Ilka Klaas, has switched to a position as Dairy Development Manager at DeLaval International AB, Professor Liza Rosenbaum Nielsen from the Section for Animal Welfare and Disease Control, Department of Veterinary and Animal Science (IVH) has taken over the day-to-day management of the Center for Research in Cattle Production and Health - better known as CPH Cattle - as of October 1, 2017.

“Animal production faces many, varying challenges today, so there is plenty to address for the researchers in CPH Cattle. The new situation with the relocation of the Danish veterinary contingency tasks places extra focus on ensuring that the collaboration works well between all stakeholders in research institutions, farmers, consumers, agricultural organizations, industry, authorities and NGOs" says Liza Rosenbaum Nielsen, who has long-lasting experience acting in exactly that field through her research and educational activities in prevention and control of production animal diseases and her work in cross-disciplinary projects and One Health.
